Have You Ever Seen a Greyhound

Have You Ever Seen a Greyhound

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When a Greyhound goes out to play?
A Greyhound loves to toss his toys
And would like to play all day.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When his tail spins round and round?
He has a huge smile on his face
With his bum in the air and his chin on the ground.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
Going out for a romp in the snow?
He moves so fast you can hardly see
Just where did that Greyhound go?

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When you’re trying to watch tv?
That silly, silly Greyhound
Stands right in front of me.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
Stomping at his bowl?
A very hungry Greyhound
Have to feed him NOW you know.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
Getting ready to go for a ride?
He wants to get to the car so fast
He pushes you aside.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When he feels he’s been put out?
His eyes are sad, the most pathetic thing
When he decides to pout.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
All dressed for Halloween?
He looks at you like “what the heck”
It’s the funniest thing you’ve ever seen.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
Just after he’s been alone?
He’s waited all the long day for you
And so very glad your home.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When he starts to roo?
What he’s really saying
I want to sing with you.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When he sprawls across your bed?
There’s no more room for you or me
The little sleepy head.

Have you ever seen a Greyhound
When he snuggles up with you?
Well, there’s only one thing better than that
And that is when there’s two.
